Passionately Pink for the Cure®

Passionately Pink for the Cure is a fundraising and awareness program. It’s a simple but effective way for groups around the country to show their support for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

In just three years, Passionately Pink has raised more than $11 million to fund breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment programs, with more than $2.5 million going to participating Affiliates. We hope to raise $4.5 million in 2009 and have increased the Affiliates’ share to 75 percent of funds raised!

Anyone can participate in Passionately Pink for the Cure! Groups pick a day (or days), anytime throughout the year, to wear pink and make a donation to Komen for the Cure. Recruit companies, religious or social groups, schools, clubs, friends and family to go Passionately Pink for the Cure® and have them register at
http://www.passionatelypink.org/

Registered groups receive a participation kit that includes posters to promote their day, breast health information and Passionately Pink for the Cure pins for participants to wear to show their support for the cure.

Rally for the Cure®Rally for the Cure Logo

Rally for the cure can be incorporated into an exisiting event, or you can design an event around the breast cancer theme.  Most people choose to Rally through golf or tennis events.  However, the program is easily adaptable to other activities, such as bridge, bunco and other fitness pursuits like yoga, spinning, and swimming.

Rally for the Cure is a grassroots program designed to spread awareness about breast health and breast cancer through volunteered organized golf, tennis and social events. In partnership with Condé Nast Publications, Rally empowers people to support the mission of Susan G. Komen for the Cure by spreading awareness in their community through an activity they are passionate about. Volunteer Ambassadors host and plan the events locally.  For more information, please visit the
Rally for the Cure website.
